PDF Compressor Pro - Offline – Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Android app PDF Compressor Pro - Offline (package name: com.redwhiteapps.pdfcompressorpro), published on Google Play by RedWhiteApps ("the app"). The app reduces the file size of your PDF documents. This policy explains what information the app uses and how.

1. Your PDF files stay on your device

• The app only opens PDF files that you choose through Android's system file picker, or that you share to the app from another app. It cannot see any other file.
• Compression runs entirely on your device, offline. Your documents are never uploaded, copied to a server, or shared with us or anyone else.
• While compressing, the app keeps temporary copies of the original and compressed files in its private cache folder, which other apps cannot access. Android may clear this cache at any time, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.
• The compressed file is saved only where you choose: either with Android's "Save as" screen, or in the auto-save folder you picked in the menu. The app keeps access to that folder until you choose a different one or uninstall the app.
• If you use "Share", the compressed PDF is passed only to the app you choose in Android's share menu.

2. Information stored on your device

To remember your preferences, the app stores the following only on your device:

• the auto-save folder you selected and the compression mode used for shared files,
• whether you have purchased the Pro upgrade.

We do not have access to this information. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. If Android backup is turned on for your device, Android may include these app settings in your personal Google backup, according to your device settings.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as:

• your device's advertising ID,
• device and app information (e.g. device model, operating system, app version),
• IP address and approximate location derived from it,
• ad interaction data (e.g. ad views and clicks),
• crash and diagnostic information about the ad SDK.

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. Your PDF files and their contents are never shared with the advertising SDK. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown; you can change your choice anytime in the app menu under Ad Privacy Options. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Android settings.

Users who have bought the Pro upgrade do not see ads, and the advertising SDK is not started for them.

4. Purchases (Google Play)

The Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information. The app only checks with Google Play whether you own the Pro upgrade. See the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

5. What we do not do

• We do not require an account or collect your name, email address or contacts.
• We do not upload, read for our own purposes, sell or share your documents.
• We do not use our own analytics or tracking tools.

If you contact us by email from the app menu, we receive only what you send us, and we use it only to reply to you.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your choices and data deletion

Because we do not store your data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. You can remove all app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in Android settings. For ad data, use Ad Privacy Options in the app menu (where available) and your device's advertising ID settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
